Alternatively install Onvif Video Manager app on Windows and do a scan to see if the ONVIF details are picked up. This is exactly what I do with a Dahua NVR and Dahua cameras. Providing that Reolink NVR’s can be configured to expose the camera feeds, BI should be able to pick them up and use. Most of this should be possible (apart from getting BI to store its footage/alerts back to the NVR unless Reolink NVR’s offer that feature?) The other option if the reolink NVR is not required for more that data space is to remove the HDD from the reolink NVR and install the drive(s) in the PC with BI and remove the reolink NVR from the equation completely. Keep in mind that BI is an NVR itself so I am not sure what the reolink NVR gives you that you want to keep it operating. The more common implementation which is closest to your proposed setup I can think of is the cameras are accessible by the PC and BI on the PC records data to an internal/external HDD on your PC while the reolink NVR also records data to its own storage, the cameras would each have two outbound feeds with one to the BI pc and the other to the reolink NVR. There are a great many “if” statements in that plan and even if all of those “if” questions are true I have no idea how the reolink NVR will function with data appearing on its drive that it didn’t put there. If the reolink NVR has a file share on it with write permissions such that your windows PC can browse to the data folder on the NVR and both read and write data then BI on your PC could put data on to the NVR. If the cameras are connected to your network such that your PC can access them directly without the reolink NVR then BI on your PC could receive the feeds from the cameras.
